1 Our chiropractors will start your first visit at DiSiena & Irvine Chiropractic, Brain Wellness, and Nutrition with a detailed review of your health history and current concerns, followed by a comprehensive physical and neurological examination. When clinically indicated, diagnostic testing and assessments may include digital X-rays, diagnostic ultrasound, thermography, EEG or QEEG brain mapping, ocular motor testing, gravitational reset assessment, applied kinesiology evaluations, and other functional or biomechanical analyses. This information allows the doctor to reach an accurate clinical assessment and determine whether chiropractic care or related services are appropriate for your condition.
2 Next, the doctor will explain your condition and give you a recommendation for a treatment plan. We will also review any risks and benefits of all procedures. The extent generally determines treatment, timing, or severity of your condition. If you have an underlying condition, chronic pain, or multiple issues or pains, you are simultaneously experiencing. In that case, you will more than likely be required to have ongoing care to relieve your symptoms. This care can range from weekly appointments to monthly sessions, though it depends on what you hope to gain from ongoing care.
3 Then, our chiropractor will help you assess your overall health and discuss any goals you have. You may also receive advice on home care and lifestyle modifications, as well as exercise and nutrition instruction.
